Mr. Walter Okol
Chief Executive Officer/Founder
Mr. Walter Okol is A chief Executive officer and the Co-Founder of Agrisol Africa Limited an Agribusiness firm providing one stop solution to farmers in norther Uganda. Walter is an agribusiness specialist. He is a trained Agriculturist by profession, He also holds Bachelor degree in Business Administration, A course he undertook few years to establishing his Enterprise Agrisol Africa Ltd, He is currently Finalizing is MBA research paper on the marketing strategies and business growth of SMEs.
With over fourteen years of experience in Seed industry and working with small holder farmers mainly youth and women. Walter has work for one of the Top Seed company in his home country Uganda for over 10 years as an Operations Manager , he has consulted for big Humanitarian organization like GIZ in the agro Input sector, Walter Through his company oversaw the implementation of several projects in Northern Uganda notably USAID Feed The future inclusive Agricultural Markets activity under the COVID 19 Relief fund supporting over 1800 farmers , Walter has championed Organic fertilizer Innovation Supported by Alphamundi Foundation where over 1600 Farmers were trained on how to formulate fertilizer using solid waste. Completed two years coaching as an oil seed marketing with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
Walter has participated in several international Collaboration most recently. Annual Convening by Water and Energy for food WE4F held in Bangkok, United nation framework for climate change- Geneva, Switzerland Innovation on outcome measurement and remote sensing, early warning detection using UAV in Washington DC, USA.
Ms. Gloria Abongo
Co-Director
Ms. GLORIA ABONGO is a co-director of AGRISOL Africa Limited with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Uganda Martyrs
University.
Gloria brings a unique blend of technical and practical knowledge to the table. Her expertise lies in development and
implementation of innovative agricultural practices that increase efficiency and yield.
With passion for sustainability, Gloria has spent her carrier working to improve the agricultural industry’s
environmental impact. Her experience in managing and coordinating large scale farming operations, including crop
selection, planting, and harvest has allowed her develop a deep understanding of challenges and opportunities facing the
agricultural sector.
Her role as a co-director is working collaboratively with her fellow directors to oversea all aspect of the company
operation including strategic planning, financial management, human resource management and risk management.
With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, she is able to build strong relationships with employees,
customers, suppliers and other stake holders, creating a culture, collaboration and innovation that drives the company’s
success.
Mr . Samuel Otim
Finance Manager
Samuel Otim has had more than 8 years of experience in the private sector as a consultant to small and medium-sized
businesses in various areas, focusing on compliance management with regulatory bodies and financial reporting to help
them combat any issues that may arise from their quick expansion.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management, and has attended other Continuous Professional
Development Courses, CPDs organized by ICPAU on the Ugandan Taxation System and Advanced MS Office Excel for Accountants
and Auditors, etc.
Samuel was an Approved Domestic Tax Agent representing SMEs at URA, ensuring compliance and advocating in their favor
when circumstances called for it, and also assisting in the preparation of management reports to secure funding from
some local commercial banks.
